[After that announcement, it's difficult not to feel frustrated, powerless. It's why she takes to wandering for a while. When she comes to the entrance to the gateway, though, she notices she isn't alone. With a nod to the other woman there:]

[She doesn't hesitate before continuing to climb, even if she tilts her head.]

[North doesn't offer a nod back. Instead, she glances over at her, visibly morose — before she huffs.]

[So, here they are, in one of the houses full of traps. Emma came here to explore on her own, but that changes when she notices North around the area as well. Staying careful to avoid any pits of spikes, she calls out:]
