[ Just like last time, Ookurikara is exploring each part of the gateway, trying to gauge what they're dealing with and if there's anything useful here they can take back. The difference is, he recognizes this - at least as Sengoku-era Japan, if not any of these specific locations. He's been taken to a courtesan house once or twice as a sword, but it's strange to see it so... empty, even if the voices try to fill the silence. He's almost bored by the whole place, until he finds a different room.
North is here, but he doesn't acknowledge her greeting or speak as he slowly walks in, taking in the items left out. Why fortune telling in a place like this? It's an odd choice, and makes him wonder what was going on, exactly. But he doesn't stop walking until he reaches the ouija board, which... doesn't fit in here, as far as he's concerned. Everything else makes sense, but - what is this? ]

[ Well. Since the ouija board doesn't seem to be forthcoming about what it is, he eventually turns to keep checking out the items here - but he stops when he notices North staring. Wasn't she busy reading? ]
...What?
...What?
If it bothers you that much, read somewhere else.
[ he can't possibly be the only one who's come through here. ]

[ bold of north to assume that he cares about her point. ]
I'm not the only one looking around.

[ he gives her a flat look and turns to look at the books near the ouija board instead. ]
I don't care.
[ this is going well ]

[ well, at least we don't have to waste time. ]
Yeah - about when you encountered the darkness. Can you tell me what happened?

That you woke up somewhere else, the darkness appeared when you played... something. [ he doesn't know what a cassette is supposed to be. ] There were puzzles you had to do to get back.
There was a native of that world who was corrupted by the darkness, and you found a way to cure him.
And... a recording.

What the recording said exactly, if there are any details I'm missing, how the darkness manifested...
[ he shrugs. ]
Anything more you can tell me.

Anything more you can tell me.
[ okay. weird. he has questions about all of this, but since north apparently only wants one question at a time... ]
Hands - like the ones that stop Lune and Sol from speaking?

Did it just cover your eyes? Or did it blind you, somehow?
[ that's probably possible with this magic stuff, right? ]

You couldn't feel anything? Or hear anything?
[ there are other senses you could have used!! ]
