And then what? They knew Julius was corrupted, but they were still perfectly willing to overlook Akane's bullshit reason for killing Cinnabar in order to focus on us.

Maybe they just wanted to know. You don't know that any of them would do anything with the information, especially if they understood our reasoning.

And you think they'd believe us if we explained? It's pretty easy to say we knew now that it's common knowledge.
