The problem is that you don't know who's corrupted and who isn't. Kill all but one of us, without any way of finding that out first, and you might end up with someone corrupted deciding the fate of the universe. Is that really worth it to you?

But if, hypothetically, you knew for a fact that someone wasn't corrupted and couldn't be corrupted. Wouldn't that make the final choice easier? If the universe doesn't ease up and give us an alternative, that's how it's going to end up.
